AMENDMENT No. 1 PROPOSED TO
Senate Bill NO. 3232

Amend by striking all after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Jefferson County may contribute to the Jefferson Comprehensive Health Center from any available funds an amount not to exceed the equivalent of the proceeds of a one-mill ad valorem tax, in any one (1) calendar year, in order to insure the delivery of medical services to the citizens of Jefferson County.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 1999.
